2For CD-Ready factory radios (those with 6 station presets) the radio type can be found either by label or by read-out from pushing the (-) and (Program) buttons simultaneously.
3Any Pioneer "M" series changer will work, the CDX-M30 is one of the most popular. These changers have either a square style chassis plug (e.g. CDX-M30) or a round plug (e.g. CDX-M60). The square plug changers use BMWPIO/M adapters while the round plug changers use BMWPIO adapters.
